3 complete demos

An agency WordPress theme for your studio's own website

Three complete agency websites ship with Canvas: a six-page design studio, a one-page media agency and a sixteen-page SEO firm. Import one, put your own projects and services into it, and publish.

The demos

Three agency websites, ready to import

Every one is a working site: its own pages, its own menu, a form that goes somewhere and a shelf of portfolio records. All three are live to walk through before you buy.

The work

A project is a record, and it owns its page

Every agency demo files its work as Portfolio records. One project is one record: the images, the write-up, the categories, and a page of its own. The home page grid and the portfolio grid read the same records, so a new project turns up in both.

  • 8 projects in the Agency demo, 7 in Media Agency and 6 in SEO
  • Categories carry the work: Graphics, Icons, Illustrations, Media and UI Elements in the Agency demo, each with an archive page of its own
  • Every project links through to a page of its own, so a case study can run as long as it needs to
  • Change a project once and the home page, the portfolio page and the category archive all follow

The pages a prospect clicks after the work

An agency site is more than a grid. The Agency demo imports six pages and the menu that links them, so the About page and the Services page are in the navigation from the first load.

  • Home, Portfolio, About, Services, Blog and Contact, every one of them in the demo's menu
  • Six services on the Services page: brand design and web design, development, campaigns, film and motion, and brand strategy
  • 4 blog posts and their archive, styled to the demo
  • The SEO demo goes further: 16 pages, six of them service pages opened from a mega menu, plus a top bar

New business

An enquiry lands in your inbox and in WordPress

Every agency demo ships a working form. On submit a Canvas Form emails you, copies the sender, keeps the entry in WordPress and posts to a webhook, with spam turned away by a honeypot, reCAPTCHA v3 or Cloudflare Turnstile.

A contact page that works

The Agency demo ships one form on its contact page, next to its social links. Media Agency puts its enquiry form in the contact section of its single page.

A quote form on every page

The SEO demo embeds one quote form on eleven of its 16 pages, so a visitor reading a service page never has to go looking for the form.

Mega menu and top bar

The SEO demo's header opens its six services in a mega menu record and carries a top bar above it, both of them records you edit in WordPress, with no hard-coded markup behind them.

The portfolio has to read on a phone first

That is where a prospect opens it, usually in the ten minutes before your call. The grid, the menu and the enquiry form come off the same responsive blocks, so there is no separate mobile layout to maintain. The screenshot is the Agency demo as shipped, 390 pixels wide.

  • Phone rules for the header, the page title bar and the footer live in Theme Options
  • Images get width, height, lazy loading and responsive sizes from WordPress
  • Canvas loads only the CSS and JavaScript a page renders
  • The Agency demo also ships an RTL stylesheet
Why Canvas for an agency site

What a studio site owes a prospect

The inner pages come too

The import brings the inner pages, the menu, the forms and the portfolio records, so the site a prospect clicks through is finished on day one.

Edited in WordPress itself

A headline, a project, a service: each one is a block field in the editor WordPress ships. No page builder for your team to learn, and none to renew.

Reversible

Canvas logs everything an import writes. Delete Demo Data clears it again, so looking at the SEO demo after the Agency one costs you nothing.

Copy help included

Case studies are the work every studio puts off. Canvas AI drafts and rewrites text in any block field, with monthly credits on every plan.

Questions

Agency websites, asked plainly

Answers that hold for the three agency demos as shipped.

Which agency demo should I start from?

Start from the Canvas agency demo shaped like the site you want. Agency is a six-page studio website: home, portfolio, about, services, blog and contact. Media Agency is a single page with a four-item anchor menu, a filterable works grid, an FAQ accordion and an enquiry form. SEO is a sixteen-page marketing website with six service pages behind a mega menu, a work page, an FAQ page and a quote form.

How are projects and case studies managed?

As records in the Canvas Portfolio content type. Agency ships 8, Media Agency 7 and SEO 6, each one a record with its own page and its own categories. The grid on the home page and the grid on the portfolio page read the same records, so adding a project means writing one record and nothing else.

Is there a team or staff directory?

Not as a content type, because none of the three Canvas agency demos ships team records. The Agency demo tells the studio story on its About page, in sections headed A Senior Team and Direction Before Decoration, built from the same heading and image blocks you edit, so a row of people is a layout you place on any page with photographs from your media library.

Where do enquiries go?

The contact and quote forms are Canvas Forms. On submit a form can email you, email the sender a copy, store the entry in WordPress and post to a webhook, with spam stopped by a honeypot, reCAPTCHA v3 or Cloudflare Turnstile. The SEO demo puts its quote form on eleven of its sixteen pages, so the same form is answered from wherever the visitor happens to be.

Is a CRM, a proposal tool or a booking engine included?

No: Canvas ships the pages, the content types and the forms. A CRM, project management, proposals, appointment scheduling: all plugin territory. Because a form posts to a webhook, an enquiry reaches whichever system runs your new business, and the theme stops pretending to be one.

How many websites does one licence cover?

A Canvas licence on Starter costs $39 a year and covers 3 websites; Pro covers 10 and Agency 100. The Agency plan also activates a whole multisite network. Every plan includes every demo and every block; the plans differ by seats and AI credits.
