Refund policy

If Canvas is not right for you, ask for a full refund within 7 days of your first purchase. You do not have to explain why.

Last updated .

1. The refund window

You can ask for a full refund within 7 days of your first Canvas purchase. The 7 days run from the purchase date shown on your invoice.

The window is short, so use the first day of it. Every demo has a live preview to click through before you buy, every block and Theme Option is documented, and the support forum answers pre-sales questions from people who are not customers yet.

2. Who is eligible

A refund is granted when all three of these are true:

  • It is your first Canvas purchase.
  • You ask within 7 days of that purchase.
  • The request comes from the account that made the purchase.

You do not have to justify the request. Telling us what went wrong is welcome, because it is how the product improves, but we never make it a condition.

3. What is excluded

  • Renewals. The window belongs to your first purchase, so a renewal falls outside it. If you would rather not renew, cancel from your dashboard before the renewal date. Cancelling keeps the licence you paid for until its term ends.
  • Upgrades. Moving from one plan to a larger one falls outside the window too.
  • Purchases made after the first one, including add-ons bought later. If the White Label add-on was part of your first purchase, it is refunded along with it.
  • Requests made after the window closes.
  • Reversed payments. If you raise a chargeback with your bank without asking us first, the licence ends immediately and the matter passes to the payment provider, whose rules take over from this policy.

4. How to request a refund

There are two routes, and either is fine:

  • Open Billing in your dashboard and use the refund option on the order.
  • Or post in the support forum from the account that bought the licence.

Include the order number from your invoice. This website is a set of static pages, so it carries no form and there is no address to write to. The contact page lists both routes.

5. How a refund is processed

Refunds are returned to the original payment method through our payment provider. We cannot send a refund to a different card, account or person.

How long the money takes to appear on your statement is decided by your bank and by the payment provider, not by us. Your dashboard shows the order as refunded as soon as it is issued, which is the earlier signal.

6. What happens to your licence

When a refund is issued, the licence key is deactivated and its seats are released.

  • Theme and plugin updates stop.
  • Demo package downloads and imports stop.
  • Canvas AI generation stops.
  • Premium blocks can no longer be inserted or edited in the editor.

Content you imported stays in your WordPress database and remains yours: pages, posts, menus, forms and media are ordinary WordPress content, not something we can take back. The code stays under the GPL. What ends is the service the key unlocks.

If you change your mind later, buying a licence again turns all of it back on.

Questions

If you are unsure whether your purchase qualifies, ask before the window closes. The routes are on the contact page, and this policy forms part of the Terms of Service.
