On a small site the quicker route is the other way round: import the closest of the 80 demo websites, then move your content into it.

Do I need a page builder plugin with Canvas?
No, Canvas builds in the block editor and the Site Editor that come with WordPress, so there is no second editor to install, learn or license. The 258 blocks appear in the inserter next to the core ones, and the same blocks build your header, your footer and your templates.
Which blocks do I get on the cheapest Canvas plan?
All of them: the Canvas Starter, Pro and Agency plans ship the same 258 blocks, 183 patterns and 80 demo websites, and differ only by how many websites you activate, how many AI credits arrive each month and whether one key licenses a multisite network. Elementor's widgets arrive by tier: 32 free, 57 on Essential, 85 from Advanced Solo up.
What happens to an Elementor site when the subscription lapses?
Neither Elementor nor Canvas takes a website offline at expiry. Elementor says an expired Pro subscription makes Pro widgets, templates, lead downloads, updates and support unavailable. Canvas renders but freezes: premium blocks keep rendering for visitors exactly as they do today, and only the service pauses. The whole contract is on our pricing page.
How do Canvas AI credits compare with Elementor One credits?
Canvas credits arrive with the plan itself, in two pools so image work never eats your text allowance, from 200 text and 30 images a month on Starter. Is Canvas faster than Elementor?
Canvas publishes no benchmark against Elementor, because a fair one depends on your host, your images and your plugins more than on either product. What Canvas does publish is the method: 35 switchable optimisations and per-block asset loading, so a page only loads the CSS and JavaScript for the blocks it actually renders.
